MECA of Southern California

Founded in August 2005, MECA aims to build and strengthen the Muslim Community across Southern California. MECA's target demographic is post college age Muslims who are single, married, or married with young children. We strive to strengthen our communal bonds through social, educational, and outreach activities.  Some of our key projects include a monthly gathering for all members (MECA Potluck), a support group for new Muslims (Coffee and Converts), community outreach and service activities (Food Pantry, Eid Toy Drive), outdoor sports (Hiking Club), and ongoing interfaith activities.
