Join us on June 22nd, 2013 for our Annual BBQ at Del Rey Lagoon Park in Playa Vista. We look forward to seeing all of you there insh'Allah. We usually have up to 100 people show up at these BBQs and we enjoy a great location, pleasant weather, and delicious food with some really awesome Mecans. Join our Food Pantry!
Join us every Saturday, 10:00 am to 12:00 pm, at the Islamic Center and help distribute food to the needy. We need help with volunteers to bag food and organize the pantry. Give back to the community while also having fun. We look forward to seeing you there!!!

Welcome
MECA of Southern California
Founded in August 2005, MECA aims to build and strengthen the Muslim Community across Southern California. MECA's target demographic is post college age Muslims who are single, married, or married with young children. We strive to strengthen our communal bonds through social, educational, arts, and outreach activities. Some of our key projects include a monthly gathering for all members (MECA Potluck), a support group for new Muslims (Coffee and Converts), community outreach and service activities (Food Pantry, Eid Toy Drive), outdoor sports (Hiking Club), and ongoing interfaith activities. MECA is what you make of it! We welcome your feedback and suggestions for future activities. We can always use volunteers, and it's a fun way to make new friends! |
