Peace Be Upon You! Asalaamu Alaikum!
Are you a new Muslim who would like to learn more about Islam? If you are,
please join us for our "Coffee & Converts" potluck meeting. We attempt to
hold our get-togethers every 4th Saturday of the month.
Coffee & Converts grew out of the expressed need from converts to Islam for
support and guidance in their new faith. This support ranges from questions
about prayer to attending a mosque. In addition to respecting each person's
individual choice in embracing Islam, we also want to recognize the many
levels (personal, spiritual, familial, communal, etc.) that one goes through
in making this decision. This is a casual, no-pressure group; we would like
to contribute to your growth in Islam while working at your pace.
After our potluck dinner, we will continue with our "Islam 101" sessions and
open the floor up to any questions that you may have. Have you thought of
any questions or concerns about Islam since our last meeting? Please send

Month" in the subject line. We will
try to address as many questions as our evening and knowledge allows.
